Emmy's Pets

Emmy is in such a funny phase right now I had to get it down before it passes. It used to be that she was a dog - for months she was a dog - the whole nine yards, barking, crawling - a bonafide dog. Now it's progressed into a stuffed animal obsession. She has a million stuffed animals - from little to huge - and she calls them her pets. She has to put them to bed, feed them, and my personal favorite - give them story time. She lines them up all over the family room and gives each animal their own book. Certain animals only like certain books, but don't worry, Emmy keeps it all straight. First thing in the morning she's asking if it's story time for the pets yet. Even Bailey has hopped on board - she helps Emmy drag out all the animals and books. This is one adorable - and messy - phase.
