Fall Break 2016

My kids have this week off school for Fall Break.  Fall Break ... now that's a wonderful thing I tell ya.  Our break coincided with the open house of the Star Valley temple, so we headed to Eastern Idaho to go to the temple, and spend time with Derek's family.
Saturday morning we headed to Teton National Park - and what a beautiful time of year!

We met John and Sandy, Angey's family, and half of Lance's family for lunch in Jackson Hole.

Then on to the temple!

Beautiful (and tiny!) temple

Nothing's better than a shuttle bus ride with cousins!

Sunday we spent the day going to church with John and Sandy, and playing all the games one can handle!
Monday we headed to Ririe and did the Cress Creek Nature Trail - it was so great!  We also met Angey for lunch and squeezed in a few more games.

Today we headed home, but we had a little more adventure left in us ... so we hit Craters of the Moon.  Despite the near tornado-like winds, we had a great time.
Climbing to the top of The Inferno

Exploring some caves

We packed as much fun as we could into our long weekend ... and the best part is, our break isn't over yet!

What a good use of the fall break, and such great ways to enjoy the fall. So many great photos, it looks like a nice trip. Just how many games are as many as one can take anyway?
